The Centre for Critical Studies was incorporated in the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities in August 2015.

The information in this website is therefore out of date but retained for archival and staff purposes.

The Visiting Fellows program allows the Centre to invite international or interstate scholars to the University to participate in the life of the campus, and contribute to a range of events or research projects.

During their time at the CCCS, Visiting Fellows are asked to present seminars, public lectures, or be involved in master classes, thus providing UQ postgraduate students and staff the opportunity to work with them. Visiting Fellows can also serve as keynote speakers for CCCS conferences.
Study Leave
The Centre, depending on the availability of space, is happy to provide visiting academics from outside and within Australia a location from which to base themselves during study leave. All enquiries, along with proposed dates, and study program, should be forwarded to CCCS Admin.
