The Centre for Critical Studies was incorporated in the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities in August 2015.

The information in this website is therefore out of date but retained for archival and staff purposes.

The Centre's early evening lecture program continues its tradition of promoting the dynamic research culture of the arts and humanities at the University of Queensland, in order to demonstrate the value of this research to the university and the community at large. The various lectures showcase the diversity of research currently being undertaken within the fields of critical and cultural studies, and help develop recognition of the benefits such research provides.
All CCCS lectures commence at 5:30 pm and finish at 6:30pm, with refreshments served after question time. All are welcome to attend. Please check individual lecture pages below for specific details.
