The Centre's seminar program provides an alternative afternoon forum to the evening public lecture series. In addition to fostering the humanities research culture, we aim to incorporate overseas and interstate visitors to the University, alongside seminars by UQ Staff. In particular, the seminar series provides an opportunity for UQ staff who have been Faculty Fellows at the Centre the previous year to talk about the outcomes of their research project. We invite staff of UQ and other universities and members of the public to attend our seminar series after which light refreshments are served afterwards.
