The Costume Fashion of Current China

Costume is a kind of carrier to transfer one's social status, cultural accomplishment, career, life style, values to the others. The costume fashion changes by the social environment. China, with its large population and wide land, is an indispensable consumer market in the world. However, to many manufacturers and dealers, they know little of the customers in China. As a result, it is difficult to exploit the new market successfully. So the first step to the Chinese market, is also the most difficult step, that is, the businessmen have to understand the Chinese consumer, and see what they need and what they want. Thus, I think the deep research into the wearing custom and the changing trend of the Chinese consumer will assist the marketing and forecasting of the costume market. I want to, by the research method in sociology, analyze the effect of the changes of Chinese consumed psychology in wearing, and summarize the new characteristics and trends of costume consumption in China. And I hope it will be useful to costume companies to set down the correct marketing strategies.
